Unprofessional test of the HDV-Z96 LED Video Light. Canon 5D mark II. Ordered from www.coollcd.com The Good · It's quite powerful and should come in handy shooting run and gun style, both in low light and with strong back-light. · Smart to add connections to the LED Light and make it possible to connect one or more to each other. · Feels decently solid. · The three magnetic filters included is very good and fast to use. · Battery Life, included Sony F970 type, is at least a couple of hours. Haven't timed them exactly yet. · Charger works as promised. Red light when charging and green when done. Very fast delivery. Only three days to Sweden. DHL Express. · 7 Inch Articulating Magic Arm feels strong and is smart with only one locking screw for all the joints. Camera hotshoe, a "Kai Arm", is according to information from the seller, made of ABS Nylon and should be strong. The not so good: · The camera hotshoe mount don't feel that sturdy. Time will tell. · The Coollcd Super Clamp feels strong and solid. But the twisting arm clinks. It should be silent. More test and live shoots will follow.
